Pedernala is a Demeter-certified farm that has been added to the farm portfolio in 2021. With the inclusion of Pedernala, Biosphera adds over 50 ha of nectarines and peaches to its production lifecycle.
Pedernala has early and medium-cycle varieties, allowing us to increase production early in the season.

Pesquero Verde is one of the first farms in Extremadura to do biodynamic agriculture, it is located in Novelda del Guadiana (Badajoz) and it started its production in 2004. The farm produces a wide range of stone-fruit products such as apricot, flat peach, nectarines and plums.

Thanks to the climate of the area, it is the farm with which Biosphera begins its fruit campaign, since it has some varieties of  early-season nectarines.

La Somera is a farm located next to the Guadiana river in Entrerrios (Extremadura). It has a spectacular landscape where crops are developed between hills. Moreover, its sandy soils are ideal for the production of asparagus, cherries and grapes. Thanks to its location, this farm is ideal for our organic crops since it is isolated from other crops and thus we avoid any type of contamination caused by the drift of phytosanitary products.

Located in Las Vegas Altas we have the Caballerias farm, closed to the Guadiana and Guadamez rivers, forming a microclimate that, with the help of its soil, makes this farm an ideal place to cultivate asparagus and stone fruits such as nectarines and flat peaches.

Valdetorres was the first organic farm in Biosphera and one of the first committed to organic production in Extremadura. The first nectarines, peaches and plums were planted in 2003. Although today many of these varieties continue, we are renewing ourselves with new ones that have even better organolectic characteristics to satisfy the needs of our customers and make them enjoy our organic fruits.

Monte do campo is a byodynamic farm that has received many awards due to its unique ecosystem. The farm, located in Portugal, is excellently managed with rich soils and sloping fields and has a range of field crops including vegetables and fruits as well as a herd of traditional Portuguese cows, Scottish sheeps, fodder crops and bees. The farm also produces high quality compost from the recycling of local resources.
